The Obamaites have already stated that unproductive life is disposable. They feel newborns and children under 6 and those over 55 as unproductive citizens are disposible. Why not when they have committed the largest genocide on the unborn in the history of man. It's easy to see they don't care to give the unborn a chance to live, the same chance they themselves were given. It's then easy to understand that a sick newborn, child or adult who is not fully functional can be condemned to die under Obamacare. As a doctor stated on a Brittish TV show, "I would rather smother any child with a pillow than watch it suffer." It seems these so-called interlectuals have reverted back to their basic animal instints by getting rid of the infirmed. Their idea of killing the unborn and letting the unproductive citizens die is their way of feeling they can control the population better and save the planet. They lack compassion and it shows in their thinking. As to a woman's right to be an abortionist, well, they really don't care about the pregnant woman, only that she be given a right to abort her unborn. When society begins to feel aborting a baby is as easy as having a wart removed then, we have denegrated to a society's thinking of human life as gargage. Thus it seems, all those human rights activists are just for showmanship, they choose who will live and who will die.

@Christine Rae Moylan;  Ever notice how Science Fiction has, in a small way, been seen merging with reality?   This time in the case you spoke of when BigGov determines who's to live or dies.  When & who gets aborted or terminated whether it's done benignly or physically.

Some, known as runners, do try to escape their fate when the time comes and it's the job of a Sandman to track them down and kill them. Logan is such a man and with several years before his own termination date, thinks nothing of the job he does. Soon after meeting a young woman, Jessica-6, he is ordered to become a runner himself and infiltrate a community outside the dome known as Sanctuary and to destroy it.
