Texas Teacher Fighting for Job After Telling Student ‘Go Back to Mexico’

"According to public records, a disruptive student was repeatedly requesting a form printed in Spanish by saying, “I’m Mexican. I’m Mexican.” Bunn, a two-time “Teacher of the Year” with 24 years of teaching experience, attempted to tell the student he could get the form in the office but he continued to repeat, “I’m Mexican.”

Just ridiculous! I can't put in writing what I really think and what my hubby said would really "rock the school boards boat!"

She has only said what most citizens think. Bravo! When I was very young I asked an English immigrant, "why don't you go back to England then." It was after many times of listening to her bitching about Australia and one day I had had enough. Her family's fare was paid for to immigrate to Australia if they stayed at least two years. They were given help in finding a place to live and places to find jobs. Yet, all she did was complain about this and that. I didn't consider all English to be bad mouthed as she and I didn't dislike her as a person. I just got tired of her complaining while enjoying the fruits of her host Country's labor. Because of the rampant illegal immigration over the past four decades America hasn't been able to keep up with it and many illegals and legal Hispanics have decided many parts of America must return to Mexico. We know this is a ruse perpertrated by the Communist/Socialist and the only land they will give back to Mexico will only be drug infested by the Mexican cartels. I say we start trading this Mexican boy for others in Mexico who would love to be Ameican Citizens and send him home where he belongs, in Mexico.

I'm on the teacher's side on this one for sure. Number one, if the kid speaks enough English to repeat "I'm Mexican, I'm Mexican", and the student understood the teacher's retort, then he doesn't need a form printed in Spanish.

I'm not sure I get your logic with driving a car disqualifies someone for welfare?

...WELFARE was designed to help the DISABLED... if a person has the mental and physical capacity to drive an automobile, then they're probably NOT disabled... yes, some disabled people can drive a car, I've seen the adaptations...

...PER 2009 figures, more than 50 million people were drawing full welfare benefits... I just DON'T believe that 1 out of every 6 Americans is disabled!

I think it is fair to say there are more than just disabled people who might need what we consider "welfare" these days.

The economic health of those who're supporting an entire world in need must indeed come before the needs of everyone else who's claiming to be in need.

Do we really want it? I think it is just a matter of time before we do get aggressive with Mexico over it's drug problem but because their culture is so immersed in corruption, they could never become an American state or even territory. Perhaps a Chicago suburb though.

Furthermore extend your proposed swath clear to the Pacific just south of San Diego & right in the middle (+/- 50mi) blast a 2mi wide sea-level canal from sea to shining sea. The proposed project could even inclide a chain of nuclear power plants to supply our power grid with a much needed resource of "clean energy" to light the classrooms of teachers such as Shirley Bunn after she's reinstated...
