Hello everyone, Suzie wanted me to pass along that all went well today with the procedure to shock Will's heart. She thanks all for their prayers.

Suzie also wanted me to pass along that she will pick a winner of the caption contest Wednesday night. I take it that the contest is not over so posting one tomorrow seems fair.

A Prayer need; My Wife & I, our son Robert, his Wife {Jinny} and two teenage boys are safe and well.

Here is the other shoe: Monday evening we rode out a tornado, to sum it up six trees down, one across the back of the house, one across my PU (it is drivable) one on an SUV (not driven daily) two trees down next to our rv trailer (only scratches) from limbs. We have had lots of help from relatives & neighbors, tarps over the back of the house keeps it liveable.

Just keep us in prayer.

Thnx.

Yours in Faith

PS: we still have neighbors just down the road w/o power!

Our hearts are heavy today. The services for our son-in-law, Wilfredo's mother Elena is today.Even after 35 + years in ministry I am without words. Maybe because I know that mere words seem so hollow in the face of great grief.Maybe with the Prayer of others the Lord will send the comfort of Matt. 5:4    rcl

Oh, How Great the Needs!

Both near and far.

This need overwhelms me:

Christians who refuse to convert to Islam or pay a special tax (jizya) and acknowledge their subjugation to Muslims are being beheaded, crucified, shot, and burned alive. Female Christians are being raped, forced to convert to Islam, and placed into slavery. Christian Churches are being burned to the ground.
With growing frequency we are seeing the persecution and mass murder of Christians in Africa and the Middle East by radical Muslims, in particular, ISIS and Boko Haram, who are aligned. http://aclj.org/…/systematic-killing-of-christians-continues

Paul said to the Thessalonians; "Pray without ceasing" (1 Thess 5:17)

Yours in Faith,

CRUCIFIED ! ! !

Prayer Begins With…The Holy Spirit

Rather than rushing into God’s presence and saying many things, it is good to quiet your mind and wait in God’s presence so you can feel God’s heart and pray the things that the Holy Spirit shows you to pray for (Habakkuk 2:1). God promises to renew the strength of those who wait patiently on Him (Isaiah 40:31; Psalm 27:14). Through this you express to God in a practical way “not my will but Yours be done.” If you are always talking in prayer, you will not be able to hear what God is saying.

Jesus said that the Holy Spirit “will guide you into all the truth” (John 16:13), and He will guide you into an understanding of how to pray. Jude instructs us to “pray in the Holy Spirit “ (v. 20), which means the Spirit of God is “guiding” how we pray and what we pray for. We confess that without the help of the Spirit we cannot pray as we should. The apostle Paul tells us to “pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests” (Ephesians 6:18). The Holy Spirit will lead you in the kind of prayer you offer to God. He is the one who motivates and enables and energizes your prayer.

And if you cannot find the right words to pray, know that the Holy Spirit will gladly assist you. “In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express” (Romans 8:26). God sees the longing, the groaning, the desiring, the crying of your heart. He understands without the words. We utterly trust God for His help by the Spirit as we pray, and we consciously depend on His divine working.

A Prayer for America

Mar 2015

Almighty God, we pause to reflect on Your character as we seek wisdom for such a time as this.

 .  In these unsafe days,

You remain all-powerful and able to protect;

 .  In these uncertain times,

You remain all-knowing, leading us aright;

 .  In the unprecedented events we’re facing,

You remain absolutely sovereign.

Our times are in Your hands.

Therefore, our dependence on You, is total, not partial. . .  our need for Your forgiveness is constant. . .  our gratitude for Your grace is profound. . .  our love for You is deep.

We ask that You guard and guide our President and all who serve the people of these United States.

May uncompromising integrity mark their lives.

We also ask that You unite us as truly “one nation, under God.”

May genuine humility return to our ranks.

And may that blend of integrity and humility heal our land.

In our Lord’s name we pray,

Amen.

How Great the Need !

Let us Pray;

"Almighty God, you are our Mighty Fortress, our refuge and the God in whom we place our trust.  As our nation faces great distress and uncertainty, we ask your Holy Spirit to fall afresh upon your people — convict us of sin and inflame within us a passion to pray for our land and its people.

Grant the leaders of our country an awareness of their desperate need of wisdom and salvation in You until sin becomes a reproach to all and righteousness exalts this nation.

Protect and defend us against our enemies and may the cause of Christ always prevail in our schools, courts, homes, and churches.  Lord God, send a spirit of revival and may it begin in our own hearts.

Remember America, we pray.  Remember the foundations on which this country was built.  Remember the prayers of our nation’s fathers and mothers, and do not forget us in our time of need.

In the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ, Amen."

God’s Love is Eternal
by Max Lucado

Human love is convenient. It suits the needs of the person at the time and works into his schedule. God’s love is eternal. You are always on His itinerary. Human love is emotional. Hormones, sleeplessness, worry, past hurts, Mexican food—all complicate these emotions.
God’s love is committed. While God has feelings for us, his feelings do not dictate his love. His love is based on a decision to love us. Your actions don’t increase or decrease his commitment. In fact, if you never love God, he will still love you.
One thing human love has going for it– you can see it. God’s love is just as real but not quite as tangible. We will see it, in time and for eternity, as we gaze into the face of God and his Son, Jesus Christ, while we stand in the presence of God in heaven! And, oh, what a day that will be!

Folks, I wanted once again to thank you all for the positive thoughts sent our way. My Chris will under go an Ablation Procedure in early January. This seems a good choice. Until then her chores require that she remain healthy, curb activity that would cause an event. BTW her potassium level is low normal and all the professionals feel she can control levels by what she eats. Her blood pressure is high periodically so she keeps a diary if the events.

Ablation from research seems highly effective with a good success record.

Peter Edward Kassig

Kassig a former US Army Ranger, was honourably dischargedis, is the latest of five US and UK hostages to have been murdered in cold blood in Syria.

The British prime minister, David Cameron, said: “These beheadings show once again what a depraved organisation this is,” and described Kassig as a “selfless humanitarian worker”.
2 Samuel 1:12

"And they mourned, and wept, and fasted until even, for Saul, and for Jonathan his son, and for the people of the Lord, and for the house of Israel; because they were fallen by the sword."  (KJV)

What else may we do beside following King David of the Bible to Mourn the loss of U.S. Army Ranger Veteran; Peter Kassig. David and all the “people of the Lord” mourned, and wept, and fasted because they had “fallen by the sword.”

Let us fast and weep and mourn for our fallen Army Ranger Veteran, Peter.
