I'm just surprised as to how much our "little" Special Election here in MA is affecting the rest of the Country. This may be the next "Shot heard 'round the World".

In a recent anti-Brown ad paid for by the SEIU, the Tea Party Express is involved. If this is true, I may be wearing my 912 t-shirt to the polling station.

I did mean what I said, and sorry I am getting repetitive, but my heart really goes out to the Black community who have been abused by so many. When one of the Black ladies on the Glen Beck special spoke it was clear to me that she felt inferior and had no self confidence. Well, that right there is the problem. Who is doing that? I say it is their leaders of Jesse Jackson, Sharpton, Acorn and the Democratic party. I realize that some will say it was slavery, and I will shock you by saying no. Throughout history most peoples were either slaves or took slaves or both. Northern Africa took white slaves for hundreds of years raiding Europe. The nearest example I have is that Eastern Europe could have been said to have been enslaved by Russia less than 20 years ago - a whole lot closer in time than US slavery. And when I was in Prague Czech Republic a few years after the curtain was lifted, did I see people who thought they were inferior? No. I saw great spirit - of people who now had a chance - who wanted to take their new country out for a drive and see what was possible. It is not what happens. It is how it is viewed. Those who tell the Blacks that they are inferior and are prejudiced against and therefore need welfare and an unfair edge on jobs are killing them - killing their spirit - keeping them down. Time of new leaders for that group to look up to and work with.

Fish Guy thanks for sending the link! I've been reading the comments and they are priceless - and tremendously uplifting. Thank God the folks of MA are awake and on their way to the polls.

I bet the newspaper regrets ever publishing that piece of you know what propaganda. They will be processing refunds for as long as it takes to count Scott Brown's votes!

I agree. What is really going on is that the Democrats "USE" the poor, while we say to the poor - you are better than that - try and we will help you. More than anything I feel sorry for the Blacks. Listening to them on the Glen Beck show upsets me a lot. Yes, first they were exploited by the whites, but to an extent, that was long ago. Now they are mostly exploited by their own leaders like Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, and Obama and the Democrats who keep telling them that they can never amount to anything, so there there, (patting them on the head) we will fix the system by using diversity, hate crimes and welfare to take care of them. Jackson, Sharpton, Acorn and Obama in no way want racial tension to go away - that is where their money, power and influence comes from. As soon as Blacks say they are good as everyone else, then Jackson, Sharpton and the Democrats have no job. I have heard others say that really the deal with illegal immigrants is that it is just the new form of slavery by the liberals. We need to tell Blacks and Immigrants to tell these guys where to go.

Good point RN. But doesn't it also seem strange that one of Barry's platforms was volunteerism (or working for little or no pay) as unemployment rose? Now with so many people out of work, they can now volunteer at an "approved" organization for an undetermined length of time and earn a 1 day pass for Disney, but can they afford to travel there?

Yes, Good Post Fish Guy. As you say it gets worse - at least for the overall Democratic claim. It seems so odd how so few know history. Republican Abraham Lincoln freed the Slaves while Democratic Stephan A Douglas at the time applauded the Supreme Court Dred Scott decision that Black People ain't got no rights. Douglas also tried to push through a similar thought in the legislature in 1858, and similar to public health, it was a push through with barely making passage. After the Civil War. the Ku Klux Klan was a Democratic invention to punish both Slaves and Republicans. In 1964 I believe a higher Republican % voted for Civil Rights then Democrats. Today many of us feel that Democrats and their Acorn friends are trying to hold Blacks and poor people in poverty and need so they will have no choice but to seek help from the Democrats. Some of this evidence is to note that large cities are both Democratic and have many poor. Has the lot of the poor in those cities improved under Democratic control? No. Some of us believe that it is on purpose to keep them poor and dependent. What is the interest in illegal immigrants? Likewise. Democrats with to imply that they care so they can get the votes, but have no real urge to improve the lives of illegal immigrants.

As for Democrats being actually nice to the poor? Hard to find that evidence ... at least if one has an open mind and does not mind reading history.
