I have a theory regarding all these wars Obama has gotten us involved with.  Bush gave us Afghanistan and Iraq but Obama now has us in Libya, Syria, and Yemen.  That’s in addition to Afghanistan and Iraq.  So let me make this part clear before I detail my theory: Obama just cannot find a way to get out of the Bush wars.  That event is beyond is ability.  I believe he would like to get out but for reasons beyond his powers as the most incompetent leader in the world, he cannot.

With that said, my theory is predicated on that belief and so excludes those wars.  For a tiny bit of background information, it is also important to remember that this administration fully supports the muslim news outlet, Al Jazeera.  They have even encouraged Americans to watch it despite its anti-western reporting.

Take that and add the influence of Facebook which our president has utilized and we have seen every country in the Middle East experience a degree of protesting and even riots.  That includes Saudi Arabia where a large amount of our oil is produced.  Had Saudi Arabia fallen into the same mess Libya currently is, there can be no doubt gas at the pump would be close to $10 a gallon now.

That is a frustration for our president.  That is where my theory comes in.  I believe we are engaged in these pointless conflicts in an effort to encourage protesters.  I believe the intent is to show that if they get the ball rolling, we will be there to help.

It is fortunate that so far Saudi Arabia has been able to quell the protest through bribery, media blackouts and arrests.  That is, fortunate for us, not those arrested or our president.  Remenber, our president told us he wants our gas prices to “necessarily sky rocket.”

John and Patricia,

You are both correct.

kwicgov55 - what can they do?  The House is trying to defund his efforts,  and the courts are working at their snail's pace to overturn his abuses of executive power.  Other than that,  the seperation of powers says they can't do squat short of impeachment,  and that aint gonna happen unless he is re-elected and we take the Senate.

It is up to us ( the States ), to stand up to him and not obey his directives.  Like Nancy Reagan said - just say no!  No more - we ARE the people mentioned breifly in the words of the Founders.  They say you work for us and it's our way or the highway.  It really is just that simple,  all we need are numbers and testicle fortitude.  I believe we already have the numbers.

I think Obama is starting Wars to spend and dig us deeper into debt. The Repubs. have been blocking his spending programs so he's found another way to break the USA. WAR!

4Yashua - God bless you for your beliefs,  but blaming America for all this evil is naive at best.  Do you truly believe we could have let Sadaam and his Army,  which did have chemical weapons ( he used them twice before ), to continue through Kuwait and then attack Saudi Arabia?  Nobody has ever said we helped our friends in that area.  All we have ever done is try to keep the area stable.

It is about oil and energy,  and always will be until we start to develope ouir own resources.  If our economy shuts down,  like it is in the process of doing now,  the world's economy will collapse. So many Americans do not understand what a responsibility we have.  It is one thing for good people to do nothing,  and another for good people with no weapons to try.  If you truly believe in Reagan,  then you can believe this country is not as hopeless as many do.  It has only been a litttle over two decades since conservatives had a voice in our government.  As I just told JG,  we have just turned that corner and are headed back in the right direction.  We only need to keep vigilant.  This swamp will take decades to drain.  We will prevail,  as this is the epitome of good versus evil. Who truly knows for certain if this is not the final days as predicted?  Either way,  I would accept this as a win / win situation.  Our sins have been forgiven,  so what have we to fear?

What I want to know is, what is Congress going to do with dictator Obama? So far, the response to Obama's arrogance has amounted to a scolding, and little else.

Because Obama has not found a sixth one yet!   This is all part and parcel of the Soros/Obama plan to spread our military so thin we can not protect ourselves,  and the cost will ensure the bankruptcy of the Nation which they desire.  This all may end up backfiring on team Soros.  The ordinary working people of these Countries do not want an extreme Muslum status.  The women are forming their own opposition groups as we speak. Never underestimate the power of maternal instinct. These women have been held in bondage more than any group on earth and for a longer time.  The Westernization of many who have been educated here is pushing this movement.  If they do get a taste of real freedom,  it will consume them.  Allah help the Taliban if this happens. :)

Create chaos, keep people feeling out of control, bend resources till they break, this president is not incompetent.  He is effective in his own way.
